In October 2002, Katherine
Toghramadjian, P.E. founded Isthmus Engineering, Inc. with the vision of
promoting quality design through the efficient use of technology. Isthmus
Engineering, Inc., a DBE certified business, provides civil engineering
design services as an on-site or remote sub-consultant. Areas of ability
include all aspects of transportation design, cross-section development,
and drainage design. In addition, Isthmus Engineering, Inc. offers training
and support solutions to engineering consulting firms seeking to develop
or supplement their Geopak based design capabilities.
In the five years since its inception, Isthmus Engineering, Inc has participated in the design of more than twenty state, county and municipal transportation projects; provided design and technical support services to twelve engineering consulting firms; and increased the productivity of numerous individuals through Microstation/ Geopak training that matched their specific needs.
